The AMTEK Building Inspection: All inspections performed by a licensed Connecticut Home Inspector conforming to The Connecticut Standards of practice for the Home Inspection Profession and meets or exceeds the Standards of Practice of The American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI).

A typical inspection takes 2½ to 3 hours, depending on the services requested. You are encouraged to participate in the inspection. Wear comfortable clothes if you wish to see all parts of the house, and feel free to ask questions!

A detailed report will be completed at the end of the inspection. The report includes a summary of the most important items noted, with recommendations, for easy reference.

High levels of radon gas are found in the air of some Connecticut homes and radon has been linked to increased risk of lung cancer. Testing is the only way to know if there is a radon risk in your home.

We provide a complete septic inspection by a licensed septic contractor.

AMTEK Home Inspection recommends that all on site septic tanks be pumped and inspected prior to purchasing a home.

After the inspection a detailed report, is created for the customer. Some additional services, such as water testing, require a few days for processing by a laboratory.
